Red Wanting Blue

Red Wanting Blue was born in the hillbilly hills of Athens, Ohio in 1996, and has since become one of the Midwest’s most sought after bands. In 2003, Red Wanting Blue landed the opening slot on select dates of the Sprite Liquid Mix Audio Tour, opening for The Roots, N.E.R.D, and 311. RWB is set apart from the pack because of their unique blend of theatrics and emotional rock. Red Wanting Blue’s rigorous touring schedule allows the band to keep up with their strong grassroots following and extreme popularity on the College indie-rock scene. They’ve been showcasing at several college booking conferences, including the NACA Nationals 2005 convention. The band just recorded a live album and DVD for their fans, and continues touring strongly into 2007.
