Since
forming in 2001, the Nashville six piece has received great
acclaim through consistent touring and two independent record
releases. Meshing elements of rock, funk, and blues, the band
creates a unique yet familiar sound comparable to those such as
The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The Black Crowes that is undeniably
100% rock n roll. Opening for the likes of Government Mule,
Drive-By Truckers, and Hookah Brown (featuring Black Crowes
guitarist Rich Robinson), as well as headlining their own shows
throughout the Southeast, The Loft has picked up new fans
everywhere. They have also appeared as part of several major
festivals, including Nashville’s Riverstages Fest and
Evansville, Indiana’s Springfest playing a total of almost 500
shows in the past 5 years. The future for The Loft looks bright
with non stop touring, an aforementioned album in the works, and
continuous media and industry attention.
