The
Trews have been riding a wave of success after releasing two
albums on Sony-BMG in Canada, which spawned six top-10 singles,
two number one singles at radio, and their tune, "Not Ready
to Go" was the #1 most played song at Rock Radio in Canada in
2004. Their resume is remarkable, but their live show blows
everything away. They are perhaps Canada’s #1 band having shared
the stage for tours with The Rolling Stones, Robert Plant, Three
Days Graces, and Nickleback. At the 2007 NACA National Convention
in Nashville, after facing a "curtain issue" on the
original day of their showcase (yes, the curtain never went up, as
they stood behind it and waited), they came back on the final
night mainstage to blow away the entire NACA crowd. Their true
ROCK set, capped off by the amazing harmonies of "Bohemian
Rhapsody" was a refreshing, straight-forward, non-nonsense
approach to how they have carried themselves throughout their
music career. Don’t miss the chance to bring them to your campus
in the fall of 2007 on their six-week U.S. tour, and then back for
a short time in the latter part of the spring (2008).
