Tom’s
acoustic flavor may remind you of artists such as Howie Day, Dave
Matthews, and Gavin DeGraw, but his party-flavor on stage is also
reminiscent of artists like Jimmy Buffet and James Brown. Tom and
his band are a staple on college campuses around the US, and have
showcased at the NACA West and NACA South conferences in 2003 and
NACA Northeast in the fall of 2006, where he was the #1 booked act
to showcase. He is regularly invited to spring break locations to
play for students. Tom’s recent fame has been in the world of
poker. After winning an online competition, Tom was selected from
millions to play at Rio’s World Series of Poker 2005 and while
we don’t want to give away the results (to piss off ESPN
viewers), he finished on the final day of competition (shhh… #26
on the 3 final tables) with a pretty amazing result (and a cool
$305,000). See more of Tom and the band on ESPN this fall, and use
it in your event promotions. He was voted "Artvoice Top
Acoustic Performer" as well as "Buffalo Music Awards Top
Performer" for three years running.
