About The Artist
Alex Charles is a New York based singer, saxophonist and music producer. At his core, Alex’s music is based in Soul and R&B but also loves drawing from other genres including Hip-Hop, Pop, & Alternative Rock. Since moving to LA, Alex has been steadily making his mark in the industry. Alex’s single, “Do You Still Think of Me?” has over 130k streams on Spotify. Alex recently inked his first indie record deal with Ninetone Group and released his first single with the label, “Perfume.” In 2022, Alex’s song “Dangerous Man” was developed into an epic short film and music videos which was a selection in the L.A. Shorts International Film Festival. A veteran performer, Alex has performed hundreds of shows in iconic L.A. venues and around the world including well-known stages such as the Viper Room, the Whisky a Go Go, Troubadour, and the Pasadena Civic Center (for America’s Got Talent.) As both a producer, composer and artist Alex’s music been used in over 45 TV shows. He consistently works with major entertainment companies like Warner Bros and Paramount. From 2018 to its recent final season, Alex was the go-to singer-songwriter for The Ellen Show having sung and produced most season promos as well as several celebrity musical guest spots. As a saxophonist, Alex has performed or recorded with well-known artists such as Camila Cabello, Brent Faiyaz and T-Pain.
