Reliant Tom is an indie pop band and dance troupe led by choreographer and songwriter ClaireCuny in partnership with producer and sound artist Monte Weber. The pair met in Brooklyn, NY in 2015 at an experimental dance theater show and their relationship blossomed into a mutual love for experimentation, sonically and visually. They consider each album an opportunity to explore new sounds and movement styles whether it’s the industrial art rock noise of Bad Orange (2018), the dark and introspective world of Play & Rewind (2020) or their 90s alternative inspired album “dancer in the dark” which is currently being released as a series of singles.
