Not many emerging musicians rise through their careers like reggae rock artist, Joey Calderaio. For nearly a decade this South Florida rising star has captivated audiences locally and nationwide with a positive aura. His musical style blends together genres such as reggae, rock, and pop.

Whether he’s performing acoustic or with some of South Florida’s most talented musicians as a full band, Joey can play it all; from familiar reggae and classic rock covers, to his catchy originals. With only 2 EPs and a handful of singles under his belt, his music has been streamed over 500,000 times and has over 18,000 followers and counting on Spotify! Joey has done what many other artists were unable to do during a global pandemic; while the world shut down he worked tirelessly to grow his fan base and national audience with his bright and positive energy and natural knack for production. He has been a featured artist at many main stream festivals including: Reggae Rise Up FL, SunFest and The South Florida Fair. One of his creative endeavors includes creating one-man band style videos, playing multiple instruments and singing covers of fan-favorite jams. Joey cultivated a substantial and loyal following by sharing those videos on Instagram, YouTube, and his Facebook group “Joey’s Bag of Donuts.”

Amid the global Covid-19 pandemic, Joey sharpened his music production skills by self-recording his second EP after his 2019 Moving Mountains debut. A collaboration with Big G Productions led to this latest masterpiece, The Dub Collection, released on January 1, 2021. An EP borne of five remixed and remastered original tunes, keeping the vocals as a staple in his sound, Joey revamped his greatest hits into an outstanding dub masterpiece!
