As a stand up comedian and podcast host, Dena uses a comedic approach to help educate others on the benefits of yoga and mindfulness practices. She also loves making her audiences laugh at numerous comedy clubs and festivals across Canada and her album “Blue Lights” hit # 1 on the iTunes Comedy charts in 2019

Join Dena for a fun and interactive hatha yoga class that asks you to stretch and sweat. We will work on breathing techniques and have an opportunity to release the day, giving our bodies and minds a break. We will work on classic yoga postures while also strengthening the body and conclude with a short guided meditation. Dena is a certified hatha yoga instructor and mindfulness practitioner who completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training in Goa, India. She is also a comedian and TEDx speaker who provides wellness talks on the benefits of meditation and mindfulness.

Dena was a pleasure to work with. Her professionalism and speaking abilities are amazing and she connected and engaged the audience throughout the entire talk. She used her humor and personal stories to engage with the audience and was very relatable.
