He is perhaps best known for his collaborations with longtime friend and fellow Cleveland-bred rapper Kid Cudi. He first gained major recognition under the moniker Chip tha Ripper, when he was featured on Kid Cudi’s highly acclaimed mixtape A Kid Named Cudi (2008).
