HONEY COUNTY

SHOWCASING: NOV 10 – 2:20PM

Rooted in three-part vocal harmonies, southern twang, and pop hooks, Honey County is a female country trio formed by singer/songwriter Dani Rose. Also featuring the stacked voices and layered guitar work of bandmates Devon Jane and Katie Stump, the band has maintained a busy schedule both onstage and in the studio, sharing shows with artists like Chase Rice and Easton Corbin while also crafting modern, melody-based country songs. This is countrywide country music, presented in three-part harmony.

As one of the only independent bands to play Stagecoach Festival this year, it’s not surprising that Rolling Stone named Honey County one of the top bands you need to know for 2017. Led by Dani Rose and her bandmates Devon Jane, and Katie Stump, the female Country trio is rooted in three-part vocal harmonies, southern twang, and pop hooks. Hot on the heels of a new partnership with Fender Guitars and with their latest single, ‘High on the Radio,’ on Radio Disney rotation, the band is gearing up next to take on Nashville’s CMA Festival in June where they will play the Radio Disney Country Stage at Fan Fair X.

Honey county is showcasing November 11th at 2:30pm and will be in the Degy Booth in the marketplace afterwards. So be sure to come say hi and get some more info on pricing, routing, and avails!

THROWBACK TIME MACHINE

SHOWCASING: NOV 11 – 2:55 PM

Throwback Time Machine is quite simply the best party ever. A video dance party that transports the audience back in time to the beginnings of pop music and takes them through its evolution right up to the present day. Every memorable song, every cheesy dance routine and every feel-good sing-along from the past 40 years is played live by our resident DJ and broadcast through our two massive screens. Each decade is introduced by ‘the Doc’ our time travelling party-starter who’ll give you on-screen instructions that’ll help you figure out your Macarena from your Harlem Shuffle.

Featuring a fantastic stage set-up, some highly interactive dance routines where the audience actually become part of the show and, of course, our outrageous resident DJ, Throwback Time Machine will have the crowd moving like no other showcasing act. A club hit now ready to rock the campus entertainment scene.

HEADPHONE DISCO

SHOWCASING: NOV 11 – 10:30 PM

Headphone Disco are the inventors of the ‘silent dance party’ format and have been touring the world for the past 7 years.
Performing some huge college shows led to them being voted ‘Best Novelty Act’ 2013 by the readers of Campus Activities Magazine in March of last year. So how does it work?
We arrive at your school (or showcase!) with our 2 resident DJs and our 2 channel wireless headphones
Our DJs spin 2 different styles of music side by side over 2 different wireless channels.
Guests select which DJ they want to listen to using the switch on their headphones (provided by us) then get busy on the dancefloor.
Imagine a dancefloor where one half of the crowd are singing along to One Direction while the other half are doing The Wobble! Bizarre, mind-blowing but most of all a huge amount of fun.

Headphone Disco will be showcasing (Special Events) November 11th at 10:30pm AND will have a booth next to our Degy booth. Be sure to stop by the both to check out how the headphones work and bust out in your OWN silent dance party!!

DJ SPIN’S MUSICAL ROULETTE

(ALTERNATE)

Introducing the brand new touring dance party from the guys who brought you Headphone Disco and Throwback Time Machine – DJ Spin’s MUSICAL ROULETTE.

Get ready to take part and bust some moves on the dance-floor with the most exciting and interactive student party ever.  Imagine a dance party where the music is controlled by the people on the dancefloor…where the dj has no idea what styles he needs to play next…where Hip Hop takes on Pop and EDM… This is MUSICAL ROULETTE!

At every Musical Roulette party the stage is set with our 6ft tall all signing all dancing spinning wheel of fortune style roulette wheel.  The DJ takes stage beside the wheel and invites students up onto the stage area every 15 minutes to give it a spin, where the wheel stops no one knows, but when it does stop it selects a specific genre of the music.  Its then over to our superstar DJ who will cut up and scratch his way through that style until its time to spin the wheel again!  No 2 Musical Roulette shows will ever be the same as its down to the wheel to determine whats next!

POP – PARTY – EDM – ROCK – THROWBACK – HIP HOP – 90s – 100% BOYS – 100% GIRLS – COUNTRY

Don’t worry if theres a style of music you don’t want on the wheel, we can swap the genres about to tailor the party to suit.
