The Dinner Detective is different from other “murder mystery companies” with scripts set in modern-time, based on actual FBI profiled cold cases. No hokey costumes and no silly song and dance. The Dinner Detective provides up to nine professional actors, dressed like everyone else, many mixed in with attendees, and each with elaborate backstories. You won’t know who is a part of the show and who is not until the crime unfolds.
The Dinner Detective is inclusive of everyone! At check-in, you’ll create an alias name tag (perfect for those intimidated by large groups or shy) and receive an Interrogation Form. It’s time to mingle and interrogate your fellow attendees, but be careful, the criminals are already in the crowd. All aspects of the show are wheelchair and disability accessible. Guests are seated at round banquet style tables, ensuring every seat is front row to the action.
Detectives guide you through the clues as the plot unfolds in a hilarious improv comedy masterpiece. Shows are customizable! Universities and corporations can customize their experience to include student information (campus safety or alcohol awareness) or company/team messages, Rating (G, PG, P-13), and performance length. The night closes with the culprit captured and one guest walking away with a grand prize valued over $100! Dinner is optional and not required!
