Okinawa, JAPAN – One of the biggest parties of the year took place this past weekend, The Okuma Beach Fest 2017! A celebration for the servicemen/women, friends and family of Kadena Air Base, this is one of the coolest music festivals around and Degy is proud to provide our talent buying services. This year, we brought Sugar Ray to Okinawa to headline the fest and the guys did not disappoint! While the younger generation may know him more for his TV work on “EXTRA”, Mark McGrath is still an undeniable front man, with pipes and song writing chops to match his band’s electric performance. Sugar Ray went deep into their song book full of massive hits to a crowd that were singing along to every word. We cannot say enough about how amazing the band and their team were to work with. These guys were total pros and brought a ton of joy and smiles to everyone at Kadena Air Base. Said Degy Agent Nick DiRoma who booked the show, “Sugar Ray brought the house down Saturday night at Okuma! Amazing show!”
Aside from an amazing lineup of live music, concert goers can camp out, enjoy some amazing food vendors, check out some water activities that you can only do at Okuma Beach including the Jetovator, and Glass Bottom Boat rides! Not to mention Okuma Beach is just one of the most gorgeous places in the world.
All of us here at team Degy are gracious for the chance to be a part of this event. Thanks to all of our Servicemen and women for all you do!
