On September 17th, Degy World was proud to host the University of Wyoming’s annual Involvement Fair for students to learn about upcoming campus events, connect with new people, and get involved in many of the different student clubs and organizations on campus to make the most out of their college experience.
“We know with a lot of classes taking place on Zoom as well as other meeting such as advising and student organization meetings being online, we wanted to think outside the box and Degy World really fits that bill,” says Center for Student Involvement and Leadership Staff Member Erik Kahl, “It’s innovative, creative, and it allows our student organizations to showcase themselves”.
The Involvement Fair featured various student organizations from Greek life organizations to club sports teams. The event utilized Degy World’s immersive Victory Center Expo Hall for student organizations and departments to set up and customize their own booths for students to learn more about all the opportunities that the University has to offer.
“Our favorite part was how much there was to do and how many ways there were to interact with other people,” says student Bryce Hester.
