Fort Bliss came alive this weekend as over 20,000 attendees gathered at Biggs Park for Pop Goes The Fort, the base’s annual Independence Day celebration. The day was filled with excitement—from family-friendly games and food vendors to show-stopping performances. Free Daps opened with rapid-fire rhymes and interactive freestyle sets that got the crowd hyped early. Then Sugar Ray took the stage with a wave of nostalgia and energy, performing their classic hits to an electric crowd. As night fell, the celebration closed with a jaw-dropping fireworks show that lit up the sky. Big salute to Fort Bliss MWR for hosting a truly unforgettable Fourth of July weekend!
