F.R.E.S.H., which stands for Fostering Respect, Empowerment, Self Care, and Health, was developed by Degy IMPACT to provide schools with on-campus laundry resources that directly support students experiencing financial hardship or housing instability. Reliable access to clean clothing plays a critical role in attendance, classroom engagement, and student confidence. By addressing this often-overlooked need, Degy IMPACT is delivering a practical and scalable education support solution with measurable community impact.
This Lake Shore Middle School installation was made possible through the generous support of Alliance Laundry Systems, which partners with Degy IMPACT to donate the washer and dryer to support the Palm Beach community. Degy IMPACT proudly recognizes Alliance Laundry Systems as a valued partner committed to strengthening underserved schools and supporting student success initiatives. Additional support was provided by Marti Freund of Gift of Life through a donation of laundry detergent.
School leaders shared that the on-campus laundry resource will provide meaningful support to students and families facing financial hardship. “F.R.E.S.H. is about restoring dignity and removing obstacles that students shouldn’t have to carry into the classroom,” said Ari Nisman, who is President of Degy’s family of companies.
This installation builds on Degy IMPACT’s first donation at Palm Beach Lakes Community High School in February 2025, which launched the initiative in Palm Beach County in collaboration with local McKinney Vento representatives. Through its Palm Beach County partnership with the McKinney Vento Program, an organization tirelessly serving the county’s homeless and underserved community, the Degy team was connected to schools who could benefit most from their laundry donations. More information about its inaugural installation can be found here.
Since its launch, F.R.E.S.H. has attracted interest from additional school districts and federally supported McKinney Vento divisions outside of Florida seeking scalable student support solutions. Degy IMPACT is currently working with schools in Ohio and Maryland that have requested laundry machine installations as the program expands beyond Palm Beach County.
As the organization grows its laundry access efforts, Degy IMPACT continues to advance broader health and education initiatives. This work includes supporting donor registration drives in partnership with the Gift of Life Marrow Registry and preparing to launch a national scholarship program for students pursuing careers in the entertainment industry.

F.R.E.S.H. (Fostering Respect, Empowerment, Self Care, and Health) is a school-based laundry donation program created by Degy IMPACT that provides commercial washers and dryers to schools serving underserved communities. The program addresses the critical need for clean clothing access among students experiencing housing instability or financial hardship.
Access to clean clothing directly impacts student attendance, classroom engagement, and confidence. Students without reliable laundry access may skip school due to embarrassment, experience bullying, or struggle to focus on learning. School-based laundry programs remove this barrier, allowing students to participate fully in their education.
Schools serving significant populations of students experiencing housing instability, those identified through McKinney Vento programs, Title I schools, and institutions in underserved communities are prioritized. Degy IMPACT works with school districts and McKinney Vento representatives to identify schools where laundry access will have the greatest impact.
School administrators, counselors, or McKinney Vento liaisons can contact Degy IMPACT at felix@degy.com or 732-818-9600 to discuss their school's needs. Degy IMPACT evaluates applications based on student population needs, existing resources, school capacity to manage equipment, and potential community impact.
Degy IMPACT partners with Alliance Laundry Systems (commercial equipment donation), Gift of Life (laundry detergent and supplies), local McKinney Vento programs (school identification and support), and school districts in Palm Beach County, Ohio, Maryland, and expanding locations nationwide.
The McKinney Vento Homeless Assistance Act is a federal program providing educational rights and protections for students experiencing homelessness. McKinney Vento representatives identify students in need, coordinate support services, and work with programs like F.R.E.S.H. to address barriers to education.
Degy Entertainment is a national entertainment booking and production company. Degy IMPACT is its nonprofit charitable arm focused on community support initiatives including the F.R.E.S.H. laundry program, Gift of Life Marrow Registry partnerships, and upcoming entertainment industry scholarships for students.
F.R.E.S.H. launched in Palm Beach County, Florida with installations at Palm Beach Lakes Community High School (February 2025) and Lake Shore Middle School (February 2026). The program is expanding to schools in Ohio and Maryland, with additional school districts nationwide expressing interest.
Corporations can support Degy IMPACT through equipment or supply donations (like Alliance Laundry Systems), financial sponsorships for school installations, employee volunteer programs, in-kind donations of detergent or supplies, or multi-year partnership commitments. Contact felix@degy.com to explore corporate partnership opportunities.
Beyond F.R.E.S.H., Degy IMPACT supports Gift of Life Marrow Registry donor registration drives, is developing a national scholarship program for students pursuing entertainment industry careers, and explores additional health and education initiatives that remove barriers and support underserved communities.
F.R.E.S.H. program success is measured through student attendance improvements, feedback from school counselors and McKinney Vento liaisons, number of students and families served, utilization rates of laundry equipment, reported impacts on student confidence and classroom participation, and requests for program expansion from additional schools.
Yes! Individual supporters can contribute to Degy IMPACT to help fund additional laundry installations, supply costs, program expansion, and operational support.
