We Were Already Doing It. Now We Are Saying It Out Loud.

Most event management companies will tell you they handle everything. What they rarely mention is that their version of everything stops at the venue door. They can manage vendors, build timelines, and coordinate logistics. What they have never done is work overnight with an artist's agent to negotiate a complicated deal, build a ProForma for a stadium concert, negotiate a production rider, or manage the relationship between a touring act and a host organization from the offer through final settlement.

That is the gap we saw in the event space. And after nearly 30 years of doing exactly those things at Degy Entertainment, we decided to close it formally. The result is Degy360°, our full-service event management and services division. But if you have worked with us before, none of this should come as a surprise. We have been doing this work all along.

From Conception to Consulting to Full Execution: A Natural Progression

Since its launch as a standalone company during the pandemic, Degy Consulting Services built a reputation on strategic advisory work. We helped athletic departments evaluate stadium concert opportunities, universities re-model event revenue, and major corporations activate their spaces, as unique and unusual as some of them may have seemed.

The reality is that Degy was never purely a consulting firm in the traditional sense. Consulting firms give you the playbook and wish you luck. Where the advice ends from those firms, Degy Consulting stepped into the room to support the execution. We were on-site. We were managing vendors. We were parking buses and troubleshooting production at load-in. Over time it became clear that the gap between strategic guidance and operational execution was not a gap at all for us. It was just how we performed, and we thrive at it.

Today, Degy's operations team alone includes nearly a dozen dedicated staff members whose entire focus is execution. They do not just prepare strategy decks, develop CADs, and write documents of recommendations. Our team is actually on the ground to operationalize delivery across events in every market we serve. Degy360° is the formal recognition that we are as much a tactical company as we are a consulting one, and that clients deserve a structure that reflects both.

What Most Event Management Companies Are Missing

The live event industry has no shortage of people willing to call themselves event managers. What it has very few of are event management companies with real entertainment industry roots. Planning an event and producing one are two entirely different things. The examples below are not case studies we pulled from a marketing deck. They are real engagements that show what full-service event management actually looks like when it is backed by nearly three decades of talent buying experience.

Case Study: University of Michigan - The Big House Concert

Consider what it took to help the University of Michigan Athletic Department execute what was tapped as the largest-attended ticketed concert in U.S. stadium history, with Zach Bryan and John Mayer at The Big House. Degy Consulting served as Michigan's strategic partner on that engagement, providing strategic planning, financial modeling, and deal structure support in coordination with AEG's global touring team. That is not the work of a company that manages vendor checklists. That is the work of a company with deep entertainment relationships, operational systems, and the industry fluency to navigate a deal of that scale.

Case Study: Owosso Speedway - Venue Activation

The same depth of work showed up when Degy Consulting was brought in to help Owosso Speedway in Ovid, Michigan, evaluate and activate its venue for its first large-scale concert. The speedway had deep roots in motorsports and a loyal regional following, but entering the live music space requires an entirely different set of capabilities. Degy conducted a full market analysis, completed a competitive review, developed a detailed revenue ProForma, and built the operational and site planning foundation to give the ownership group an honest go or no-go decision. That kind of engagement does not begin and end with booking a band. It starts with understanding the business.

Case Study: Tower City Center - Comprehensive Venue Revitalization

Perhaps no example better illustrates the range of Degy's capabilities than our work at Tower City Center in Cleveland, Ohio, a property owned by Bedrock Management Services. When we began working with Tower City, it was a largely vacant and underutilized mall that had lost most of its retail tenants, foot traffic, and regional relevance. Tower City was once Cleveland's economic, retail, social, and event powerhouse. Our task was to support the entertainment and events perspective and, in short, bring it back to life.

Degy was engaged as consultant, event producer, talent buyer, and booking agent simultaneously. Within the first 18 months, we programmed more than 10 events including concerts, brand activations, community expos, and cultural showcases. We brought in Bone Thugs-N-Harmony as the venue's first major headliner, timed strategically to coincide with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Weekend in Cleveland. Five months later, we helped coordinate and execute the NBA All-Star Weekend activations, turning Tower City Center into a major hub for basketball fans, brands, and cultural organizations across the city.

The work extended well beyond music programming. Our team executed the Real Black Friday expo, a two-day event featuring 209 local Black-owned businesses spanning every floor and open space in the building, supported by step shows, marching bands, and live entertainment. We designed the media connections, built the CADs, developed the schedule and procedural plan, mapped the parking setup, handled electrical and WiFi coordination, and managed every functional event service needed to execute it successfully. The result was exceeding a $500,000 spend goal set by the corporate organizers. Just as important, it was a revitalized public perception of Tower City Center as a live event destination supporting small businesses and Black entrepreneurs in the community. That is what full-service event management actually looks like.

The Services Were Already There. The Brand Is New.

Here is something our long-term clients already know. Degy has been executing most of what Degy360° now formally offers for years, across thousands of events annually in markets ranging from college campuses to military installations to corporate programs and beyond. The difference is that those capabilities were almost always attached to a booking or talent engagement. If Degy booked your talent, you got the full picture. If you worked with another agency or managed entertainment internally, that level of operational support simply was not available to you through us.

Degy360° changes that entirely. The full suite of services is now available as a standalone offering, independent of whether Degy is handling your entertainment or whether someone else is. If you have already booked your headliner, secured your production vendor, or are working with a local promoter, Degy360° steps in as your operational and strategic partner for everything surrounding the event. And if your event has no talent component at all — a conference, a convention, a city festival, a corporate gathering, a military ceremony, a brand activation — Degy360° is still the turnkey solution to executing it with precision.

Who Degy360° Serves

For organizations that have worked with Degy for years, this is an elevation of what already exists. For organizations that are new to us, it is a clean entry point with no pre-existing relationship required. Colleges, corporations, municipalities, athletic departments, festivals, fairs, military installations, and nonprofits can all engage Degy360° as their primary event management partner. The promise is the same in every case: one partner, one relationship, and full accountability from the first planning conversation through the final reconciliation.

The Bottom Line

Live events are worth doing well. Better yet, they must be done well – and safely, securely, and successfully. The organizations that produce them consistently are not managing every piece themselves. They generally have the right strategic partner in their corner, one who has been in the room when deals get made, knows what operational excellence looks like at every stage, and has the depth to carry the weight from start to finish. An ace in the hole is a great card to play.
