MENTAL HEALTH VIRTUAL TOWN HALL

After losing his wife to suicide in 1998, Reese Butler founded 1.800.SUICIDE.  Over the 20+ years since, the National Hopeline Network has routed more than 5 million callers to help and hope. 1-800-SUICIDE is the first hotline in the world that was effective in preventing suicide.  Being alone, in fear, uncomfortable, and scared are common concerns that have emerged since Coronavirus impacted in March.  Many people already had these feelings prior to COVID-19, and have lost their ability to get proper help from closed college campuses or wellness centers.  This “Town Hall” style event is anchored by Reese Butler himself, and features a revolving panel of mental health and suicide prevention experts.  It’s catered specifically to the needs of the buyer and can be held multiple times for different groups.
